About Jordan Kensington



Jordan Kensington is an entrepreneur, media personality and founder of the company Invincible, a media, advertising and events agency launched in 1999 with headquarters in the Virgin Islands and offices in six countries. The media part of the business publishes over 12 magazines including; Chelsea Monthly, Los Angeles Monthly and UniDaily, Teen Republic whilst the advertising agency looks after the media planning and buying for several brands spread across six countries including the USA, UK, Caribbean and China. The events company, invincible events produces some of the biggest global awards shows including; the National Reality Television Awards, Urban Music Awards, British Music Week and the International Football Awards.
richard branson & jkIn 2008 Jordan, was the first young British entrepreneur of his age to launch the development of new tablet pc’s through the creation of a new development and manufacturing company called Zuricom. The first product, Zuricom JK-100 hit the market in 2011 and is currently being sold throughout Asia, Europe, and Africa and now in the United Kingdom.
His other business interests under the umbrella of Invincible include radio station, a Television production company, record label, celebrity management agency and a primary school and College. He has taken the roles of Executive producer of Sky TVs Britains Next Urban Superstar, writer, radio presenter and presenter for BBC 1 local news strand Inside Out.
Early years
Jordan was born on the 1st of July 1981 in Wandsworth, London, the son of Emmanuel and Agnes Kensington of Cameroonian and Caribbean origin.

He moved back to London when his father died of kidney failure in 1995. He attended South Thames College and later studied law at London South Bank University.

After finishing University, Jordan sold his house and with support from The Princes Trust went on to set Invincible Magazine in 1999.The magazine reportedly saw a circulation of 65,000 copies distributed monthly in the UK giving exposure to several first time artist such as Dizzee Rascal, M.I.A, Joss Stone, Twista, Eminem and many more. jk & carIn 2002 the company launched a radio station, Production Company and a celebrity management arm to further maximise the brand Invincible and 2003 saw the launch of the Urban Music Awards.

The awards show spun off an events production arm to the company that led to the launch of British Music Week in 2005 , International Football Awards and many more globally recognised events.

Jordan also launched Invincible Media in 2005 and set up offices in over 6 countries. Invincible media concentrated on working on the media planning and buying for brands within their country targeting a 15 to 34 demographic. The company has won accounts in all key territories including China, Africa, USA, and the UK. Clients include;
Samsung Mobile, Timberland, Kickers, Footlocker, MAC Cosmetics, Corona Extra, British Airways, and many more.

Other ventures
In addition to his media business, Jordan owns a Primary school and a College located in Cameroon and St. Lucia. The College is called Mother Teresas College, named after the legendary philanthropist Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

The current College is in Cameroon; whilst the school is in St. Lucia . His interest in education has meant that he is constantly being booked to speak and offer motivational seminars in Universities, Colleges, and businesses.
On April 22, 2007, Jordan inked a six figure deal with leading shoe brand Kickers. The agreement saw a special Invincible shoe created, sold and endorsed by several celebrities. As well as working on sponsorship and marketing for brands such as Timberland, Samsung Mobile, SonyBMG and Warner Music Jordan signed off a 2 year deal with the worlds biggest sports retailer Foot Locker in 2007.

In 2006, Jordan was named Ambassador for the Government based campaign Make your Mark, and



was announced as an honorary VIP member of the BlackBerry VIP Entrepreneurs network.

In 2007, Jordan gave a 30 minute interview with Jim Boulden of CNN to celebrate the launch of Invincible in New York. 2011 sees the expansion of Zuricom as the next generation of tablet pc’s launches across Europe, Africa and Asia which has earned him an innovator award from Ernst & Youngs 2011 Future 100 Award recipients.
